About Attorney Dan Siegel
Sometimes called the "Geek lawyer," or the "high tech lawyer," Dan Siegel is a practicing attorney at the Law Offices of Daniel J. Siegel, LLC and the founder of Integrated Technology Services, LLC. Dan is certified to train a wide range of products, including CaseMap, TextMap, NoteMap, TimeMap, Concordance, Legal Files, Time Matters and Worldox.
A nationally known lecturer and author about technology, Dan is the author of The Lawyer's Guide to LexisNexis CaseMap, as well as the "Technology" column in The Philadelphia Lawyer, the quarterly magazine of the Philadelphia Bar Association; he also authors the Technology column in Trial Magazine, the official publication of the American Association for Justice. Dan is also co-author of How to Do More in Less Time, a book that highlights many of the solutions that technology can offer your office.
Dan is a nationally-recognized speaker, writer and expert on legal technology and on substantive areas of the law including ethics, workers' compensation, appellate practice and civil litigation. Sensing the need for a firm to address the technology needs of attorneys, and wanting to share his love for technology, Dan founded ITS, a firm which focuses exclusively upon ways for lawyers and legal professionals to handle cases more efficiently.
An attorney since 1984, Dan serves in many technology-related positions. He is a past Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association Law Practice Management Division and the association's Practice Technology Committee. A solo practitioner, Dan chaired the Computer Committee at Anapol, Schwartz, Weiss, Cohan, Feldman & Smalley, P.C. in Philadelphia.
Dan is an honors graduate of Franklin and Marshall College and received his law degree from Temple University School of Law in 1984. He is a native of Philadelphia (Mount Airy and Cheltenham Township) and lives in Havertown, Pennsylvania. He is activein numerous community and other groups, and is the 4th Ward Commissioner in Haverford Township.
