About Attorney Dan Siegel

Sometimes called the "Geek lawyer," or the "high tech lawyer," Attorney Dan Siegel is a practicing attorney (at the Law Offices of Daniel J. Siegel, LLC) and the founder of Integrated Technology Services, LLC. Dan is certified to train a wide range of products, including CaseMap, TextMap, NoteMap, TimeMap, Summation, Concordance, Legal Files, Time Matters and Worldox.

A nationally known lecturer and author about technology, Dan is the author of The Lawyer's Guide to LexisNexis CaseMap, as well as the "Technology" column in The Philadelphia Lawyer, quarterly magazine of the Philadelphia Bar Association; he also authors the Technology column in Trial Magazine, the official publication of the American Association for Justice, formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA).

Dan is a nationally-known writer and lecturer about technology in law offices and in litigation. Sensing the need for a firm to address the technology needs of attorneys, Dan opened Integrated Technology Services, LLC, which focuses exclusively upon ways for lawyers and legal support staff to handle cases more efficiently.

An attorney since 1984, Dan serves in many technology-related positions. He is a past Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association Law Practice Management Division and the association's Practice Technology Committee. A solo practitioner, Dan chaired the Computer Committee at Anapol, Schwartz, Weiss, Cohan, Feldman & Smalley, P.C. in Philadelphia. He is currently certified to train a wide range of products, including virtually every product sold and supported by ITS.

Dan is an honors graduate of Franklin and Marshall College and received his law degree from Temple University School of Law in 1984. He is a native of Philadelphia (Mount Airy & Cheltenham Township) and lives in Havertown. He is active numerous community and other groups, and is the 4th Ward Commissioner in Haverford Township.
